BOLD. ADAPTABLE. CREATIVE.

Dominique is a graduate from James Madison University. She has her bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Design with a few minors in Creative Writing and Mathematics. Why mathematics? Her mother was a math major - numbers are in Dominique's blood.

In addition to film and video game audio, Dominique also has experience running live audio that ranges from full band concerts to comedians to the ever-entertaining open mic night.

Equipment set-up and tear-down? Check. Soundboard operation? Check. This gal really likes sounds.

"This gal really likes sounds."

When not hiding away mixing audio, or running around on set with a sound mixer and mic-on-a-stick, Dominique prefers to curl a blanket over her shoulders, put a controller in her hands, and play video games.

That, or she can be found talking to herself in her small recording booth, trying her hand at voice acting. The dream? To get into the video game industry one way or another. Games need sound designers and voice actors and she hopes to become both.

Circling away from audio (only for a little bit), Dominique enjoys writing too.  She's written more stories than she can count, but she'll highlight a few standouts. Dominique has been published in the 2020 Bluestone Yearbook for her short story about a girl and her dragon, and she co-wrote the short film, Home.

When it comes to creative endeavors, Dominique doesn't shy away from anything. If it sounds like a good time, will expand her skill set, and will let her learn something new, then Dominique says, "Yippie Kai Yeehaw, let's do it."
